Like all good ideas, this one is not new. Known in the US as REMIs (REmote INtegrations) and in Europe as Remote Productions, producing live events without sending people there has long been seen as something to which most broadcasters have aspired. Whilst every broadcaster regards themselves as unique, Remote Productions is one are where they are most different meaning that a remote production solution for one can be almost the opposite of what another needs. This is why it’s taken so long for winners to be seen in this space.
Here, MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports will talk about what they’ve done and why that works for them allowing us to understand their experience in deploying remote production and the experience and benefits derived.
With the world’s largest and most advanced fibre network that is strong and reliable, Tata Communications is best placed to deliver feeds with extremely low latency, super large capacity, stable and consistent to match broadcaster’s requirements of delivering better quality feeds, with faster turnaround at lower cost, offering the potential for higher productivity for live production, in terms of both OPEX and CAPEX.
Join IBC365 and Tata Communications to explore how organisations are using cloud playout to deploy a unified solution for both playout and distribution on a global basis, and why cloud is fast becoming the preferred option for many linear channel operators and broadcasters.
Cloud playout offers the potential for rapid channel launches, more efficient and resilient operations and a clear commercial model enabling linear channels to be more successful and profitable.

Explore cloud success stories, like Woohoo TV, Latin America’s first dedicated channel for sports, music and youth culture. It expanded rapidly into new markets in the U.S. without needing capital investment by deploying Tata Communications’ Cloud Master Control and Video Connect solutions.
Learn how Cloud Master Control delivers a future-ready virtualised IP environment powered by industry-leading technology vendors, enabling channel operators to scale rapidly from a single channel to a large-scale multi-channel operation, with complete flexibility and reliability.
Understand the business, technology and operational benefits and the crucial questions to ask before moving your channel playout operation to a cloud playout provider.

This IBC365 webinar explores how broadcasters and production companies are overcoming technical and operational challenges benefit from remote production and how it is changing the way sports broadcasters operate.
Tata Comms CTO Jeremy Dijardin explains how remote production helps broadcasters economically generate a high volume of sports content, improving productivity and efficiency by leveraging telecoms infrastructure.
Dhaval Ponda from Tata Comms and Jos Liemer from VISTA Worldlink discuss how broadcasters can now go about producing feeds remotely at a central location only a handful of camera crew have to travel while the technical director, commentator and other key crew members can finalise production at a central location avoiding 30-40 people traveling to each location with kit to produce the programme.
